Graham Norton decides to move home and admits hoarding tendencies

Chat show host and TV presenter Graham Norton is selling his £4.95 million London house after living there for 20 years.

In his podcast, Wanging On with Graham Norton and Maria McErlane, he said that he thought that he did not have much stuff to move, but when it came to sorting through his belongings, he found there was a lot. He admitted:

“I now discover I am a hoarder, just with a big house. It’s all in cupboards because there are a lot of cupboards.”

He realised that there were numerous items, such as old photographs, that he kept for no reason.

Graham has not revealed where he is moving to, but in an interview with The Sunday Times, he said that he had been pondering for a couple of years about making a “big change”.

The home where he currently lives is a Georgian four-story, five-bedroom house with a garden that overlooks the River Thames. He lives there with his husband, Jonathan McLeod.

Before moving home, like Graham, most people look through their belongings and sell or give away items no longer needed. This reduces moving costs as there is less to take in the moving van.
