An increasing number of self-storage facility owners are utilising artificial intelligence (AI) to respond to customer reviews and maintain a high reputation.

In many cases, people who want to use self-storage facilities typically find them online before visiting them in person. They check reviews when deciding to contact the storage company. They particularly look for reviews that praise the company’s customer service and judge the business on how well it responds to reviews.

Busy companies can find it difficult to respond to all reviews, especially if they are spread across numerous review platforms. Katie E. When implemented correctly, AI can respond to customers’ concerns, save time and protect a brand by responding promptly to queries. Research by search engine optimisation experts BrightLocal found that 58% of people surveyed preferred AI-generated content in a test when they compared AI and human-created content without knowing which was which.

However, she warns against relying completely on AI, especially when responding to sensitive reviews. AI is fine for responding to routine issues, but for complex issues, a response may need primary input from a human.
