There are four main steps involved in assisted moving scheme.
1. Find your new home and agree to buy it. The builder should provisionally reserve the new home for you.
2. The home building company will then arrange an independent valuation of the existing home. If the valuation is acceptable to you, the home will be put on the market and appear on leading house sale websites.
3. The builders will work with the estate agents to market and sell the home quickly. Some builders will also contribute towards the estate agent’s selling fees. When a buyer for your home has been found, the new home is formally reserved.
4. As soon as the new home is legally yours, it’s time to arrange a moving date.
